Beautiful beach. Lots of rocks but the kids loved putting them in buckets.
August 17, 2017 parking is $20 for the day. We stayed less than 2 hours. There were more rocks than sand, no lifeguards, there is restrooms that should be demolished & rebuilt. The older gentleman ripping is off for $20 bucks was surprised I complained. I let him know I plan on spreading the news.
Great place to watch a summer sunrise as is captured in these photos, sand is deliciously soft and smooth but like all oceans around "New England" it has its fair share of rocks, seaweed and freezing cold water!!! I prefer a swimming pool or a nice Caribbean ocean that is seaweed free, rock free and has no tides but as far as beaches available to residents of the south shore this one is quite nice, serene and lovely
Great beach! Drive right out on the beach with your car. U have all the things u need. Great way to take in the beach experience.
What a great beach day today! The reserve needs to get rid of the rocks. This must have been one of the top days for the most rocks I've ever seen since childhood! Hopefully what the tide giveth the tide will taketh away! Nice that the paved the road and parking lot. Now that it's $20 hopefully the can update the ladies room and changing area too.
